Ei Shwe Sin is responsible for monitoring, collecting, and analyzing information from significant and popular social media-based news outlets and conflict-related social media pages. Before joining MIPS, she served as a media monitor at the Ethnic Peace Resources Project, an INGO working to support ethnic minority groups across Myanmar. Her responsibilities there included co-managing EPRP specific activities, producing EPRP’s first ‘Listening Book’, and conducting interviews with women from ethnic regions in Myanmar. She also worked as a journalist for a local news agency.

Ei Shwe Sin graduated from Dagon University with a B.S. in Mathematics in 2010. She also earned a diploma in International Relations from Yangon University in 2014. She is an alumnus of the 19th Asia-Europe Foundation Summer University Program in 2015.
